A signed waiver is required for all persons to enter the climbing areas. Parents or legal guardiants must sign for their kids.
There’s a First Time for Everything!!!
We’re here to help you get started- No experience necessary.
Do you take walk ins, or do I need to schedule a class first?
Due to the COVID Pandemic, we are currently working on a Reservation System. Please check out our reservation page to make your booking. Walk-Ins are not recommended for first-timers.
Most people don’t schedule classes for their first time, but instead come in so they can check out what it’s all about. Everyone will undergo a facility orientation, where we’ll show you how to get set up and ready to climb in person. We have staff in the facility to help you if need be- but most folks are able to get going from here! One thing to remember though: Our staff do not help you clip in and out of our auto-belays, and they do not belay customers. They’re more similar to lifeguards, rather than personal attendants. If you’d like to take a belay class to use our tope rope systems, classes can be booked for any weekend (we do not take class bookings for the week at this time) just make sure to set up the class at least 1 week in advance!
Do I need to fill our any paperwork before I come, or can I fill it out once I get there?
Waivers are required for everyone to enter the climbing areas – Parents or Legal Guardians must sign for Minors. This can either be done ahead of time online at our Waiver page, or in person at one of our three kiosks.
What do I need to do in order to climb?
You’ll need a climbing pass, and if you don’t have your own gear, we also have gear rentals. This is all you really need to climb at our facility, provided that you have closed-toed shoes, and a current liability waiver on file. All rentals are extra, but we do offer Admission+rental packages!
What comes with a Day Pass?
We are not currently offering Full Day Passes due to the COVID Pandemic. Session Passes may be booked through our Reservation System.
A day pass is good for all day admission to the facility. It doesn’t come with anything else. All of our rentals are optional, extra rentals. That way, if you have your own gear, you’re good to go! Climbing harnesses are necessary to climb in all of our roped wall areas, and our shoes help with added friction, but ultimately we want you to be comfortable! Feel free to wear your own sneakers if you’d rather. Climbing Chalk helps dry out sweaty hands and strips out the oils from your palms (this rental is not available at this time due to COVID-19 restrictions). This’ll help you grip more easily, and keeps our holds free from feeling slick! If you want the rentals, you can purchased them with your day pass, but it’s ok if you don’t want the rentals now- you can always change your mind and get them later if you don’t want them right off the bat. Flip-flops, Sandals, Vibram Five-fingers and barefoot climbing are strictly prohibited on the rock walls.
What's the youngest that you allow to climb?
Climbers of all ages are welcome! Kids 14 and under are not allowed to be dropped off at the facility, and must have an adult present with them. Climbers 12 and under must be under direct and active supervision at all times. That being said, we have a minimum weight of 35 lbs. for a climber to use our auto-belay systems.
I'm a total beginner. Do you offer classes?
Yep! We have all sorts of classes at all levels of ability. For beginners, we specifically offer an intro to climbing class, and top rope belay certification class! Head over to our classes page for more info, and booking!
