Fitness Class: Prehab

(Ages 16+ years old)

Free for members | $10 non-member. 1 – 1 hour long. Every Tuesday from 7-8pm.

Prehab allows climbers of all levels to learn the importance of correct form, while building strength, stability, and body control to help prevent common climbing injuries. This class will focus on both major and minor muscle groups using light weights and bands, including a thorough proper warm up and cool down with stretching. Because class size is limited to 6 total participants, we are not able to accomodate drop-ins. All participants are required to sign-up ahead of the class.

Fitness Class: Fitness Circuit

(Ages 16+ years old)

Free for members | $10 non-member. 1 hour long. Every Wednesday from 7-8pm.

The Fitness Circuit class is a great way to train off-the-wall. The circuits will include strength training, HIIT exercises, TRX, and core work focusing on power and endurance skills that can transfer from the class to the wall. All fitness levels are encouraged for this class.

Because class size is limited to 6 total participants, we are not able to accommodate drop-ins. All participants are required to sign-up ahead of the class.

Specialty Class: Aerial Silks

(Ages 18+ years old)

$30 per participant. Single session, 1 hour long. Participants may bring own hardware, or use Gripstone’s in exchange for a $5 cleaning fee. Aerial Silks Classes will only be offered on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month, from 6-7pm. Designed for beginners, our Aerial Silks Class is a fun and creative class that will lead to greater strength and flexibility.  This class will be offered on the first and third Monday of each month, and participants must sign up for each class individually. Overall, this class will be progressive in that new poses and skills will be introduced each class…so the more classes you sign up for, the more you will learn! While all rigging will be handled by our CWI and First Aid/AED certified instructor Tracy, each participant will need to bring their own aerial silks and rescue eight hardware. We sell aerial silk/hardware packages in our shop or you can contact Tracy to see if your aerial silks meet our specific requirements.  All participants are required to sign up ahead of the class.
