ACTIVE MILITARY 

Proof of eligibility can be completed through the provision of an active military I.D. or Miltary Dependent I.D. to qualify for a discounted Gripstone membership. This discount is valid until the expiration date shown on the I.D. Discount verification needs to be shown to the front desk.

Your membership will return to the regular rate if your discount is not reverified at the expiration date shown on the I.D.

POLICE

FIREFIGHTER

Proof of eligibility can be completed through the provision of a current Firefighter I.D. and EMT license to qualify for a discounted Gripstone membership. This discount is valid until the expiration date shown on the EMT license. Discount verification needs to be shown to the front desk.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

Proof of eligibility can be completed through the provision of a current government issued I.D. and EMT license to qualify for a discounted Gripstone membership. This discount is valid until the expiration date shown on the EMT license. Discount verification needs to be shown to the front desk.

NURSE

Proof of eligibility can be done through the provision of a current government issued I.D. and Nurse license to qualify for a discounted Gripstone membership. This discount is valid until the expiration date shown on the Nurse’s license. Discount verification needs to be shown to the front desk.

COLLEGE STUDENT

 A digital or printed class schedule must be shown to the front desk showing full-time enrollment (12+ credit hours undergraduate / 9+ credit hours graduate) to qualify for a discounted Gripstone student membership. This discount is valid until the end of Gripstone’s semester periods. IF the discount is not verified at the beginning of the semester, your membership will return to the normal rate.

Gripstone Semester Periods:

Spring Semester (Jan 1st – April 30th)

Fall Semester (Sept 1st – Dec 31st)

If the discount is not verified at the beginning of the semester, you can still submit verification before the 10th of every month.

For Example:

• Brian misses the verification deadline on January 10th and is billed the regular rate on January 15th.
• He brings in his verification on February 8th showing full-time enrollment as a student. He then resumes the discounted rate on the next billing date of February 15th.

TEACHER

Available for Public School and University Teachers. Proof of eligibility can be completed through the provision of a current school I.D. showing the current school year to qualify for a discounted Gripstone membership. This discount is valid until August 28th of the next school year. Reverification must be shown by Sept 1st to continue to receive the discount. Discount verification needs to be shown to the front desk.
