Apologies for the miscommunication in the June Gripstone newsletter – the one where we announced we would be open until 4 pm on Thursday, July 4th.  Instead,  we will only offer our normal Members-only hours on July 4th, 6 am – 12 pm! We will be closed to the public all day.

(*As a reminder, all Gripstone Members are welcome to bring a friend during Members – only hours and use one of your Standard Guest Passes, but you cannot use a Locals Only Guest Pass during Members – only hours.*)

It’s our LAST MONTH @ Camp Gripstone

The Campers at Camp Gripstone are having a blast! Offered every weekday from 8:30 – 11:30 am, Campers get to climb, play games, and even tie dye t-shirts on Fridays (extra charge). If you would like your child to join us, sign up today. July is the last month of the 2024 edition of Camp Gripstone, don’t wait!

Warrior’s Way Clinic July 24th!

Attention Gripstone Lead Wall Hangdoggers!  Are you terrified to take a fall while lead climbing?  To the degree that you call “TAKE!!” at every bolt while climbing on Gripstone’s lead walls? You are making it way harder than you need to.

If this sounds familiar to you (or your climbing partner!), we would like to recommend that you participate in our upcoming Rock Warrior’s Way Gym Clinic on Wednesday, July 24th from 5 – 9:30 pm and effectively learn how to erase self-doubt and improve your commitment while climbing on Lead.

At a cost of $150 / participant, registration is limited to those CURRENT Gripstone Members who:

• Age 16+
• Lead Climb / Belay certified at Gripstone for a minimum of 6 months prior to the clinic
• Lead climb (indoors or outdoors) minimum 2x / week
• 5.10 onsight ability
